Voices of Limerick’s aim is to foster a love and knowledge of choral music including opera, operetta and diverse choral work.


The choir has performed many of the great choral arrangements and also works that have been arranged specially for the choir itself including an arrangement by Colman Pearce of ‘Oh! Limerick is Beautiful’. Our recent concert in November 2014 included the premier of an arrangement, again by Colman Pearce and dedicated to Voices of Limerick, of that lovely ballad ‘Where the Shannon River meets the Sea’, in recognition of Limerick’s year as National City of Culture.
